North Carolina education leader, traveler, francophile, mother of two, and recovering attorney. I am presently in the field of educational administration. Prior to this, I served as an associate principal, dean of students, French teacher, and attorney/mediator.
I am particularly interested in education law, integration of the arts in education, constructivist approaches to teaching and learning, charter schools, and movements in school reform to improve the conditions of schools and students in underserved communities.
When I am not musing about the aforementioned things, you can find me enjoying the arts, discovering new foods and then attempting to recreate the experience in our home kitchen, traveling, learning new languages, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with my incredible family.
